Functional Movement Assessments at TAKEOFF Performance
Most athletes will develop an imbalance at some point in their training. Of course this can develop naturally during the activity repetition required for skill refinement, but did you know they can be worsened by or develop entirely due to daily behaviors outside of practice? Even vacation travel is a common culprit!
Athletes under ongoing maintenance care with Life Moves MT receive imbalance assessment from expert Movement Professionals at every appointment, helping them recognize when an imbalance is developing, and preventing unnecessary injury.
Life Moves MT is partnering with TAKEOFF Performance to make these assessments convenient & available to all TAKEOFF athletes at their facility. Assessments are recommended at least twice annually and as needed following travel, growth spurts, and high-impact falls.
Body Care Workshops by LMMT at TAKEOFF Performance
When time is limited, recovery is often one of the first components of training that is shortened or left behind entirely. Yet without quality recovery, we don’t get to realize the full return on our investment into training. That is what we have developed our Body Care by LMMT individual & series workshops.
Each series workshop is dedicated to a specific sport (and sometimes narrowed to specific positions within a sport) so that we can tailor recovery stretching, self-massage techniques, and stability work to the repetitive actions required by that particular sport. Time is limited, so make sure you know how to recover effectively and quickly.
Individual workshops cover topics experienced by all athletes, regardless of their sport.
